Verdispar, on behalf of Scandinavian investors, has acquired almost 7 hectares (18 acres) of land at 374 Ukmerges Road in Vilnius, where it is developing a residential and commercial project that meets Scandinavian quality standards. Located just 7 km (4 mi.) from the city center, the new neighborhood will offer residents modern, affordable housing distinguished by an exceptional concept and living environment.
Verdispar and its partners have finalized the concept and the detailed planning of the project, as well as all other related project preparation work. Plans for construction of ScandiPark have been temporarily postponed due the current market situation. However, construction of the project will resume as soon as the market situation improves.

The Ukmerges Road area is developing rapidly, with its main focus on housing and commercial use. The Vilnius municipal government is also planning new roads and other infrastructure there in the near future.
Verdispar’s plans are to develop approx. 47,000 sq. m (506,000 sq. ft.) of residential space and approx. 36,000 sq. m (388,000 sq. ft.) of commercial space − Vilnius Office Park − on the lot. The main emphasis will be on creating an exceptional, integrated living environment. This is why we have decided to build Vilnius Office Park − the first office park in Lithuania − along Ukmerges Road, so that we can separate the residential units from heavy traffic.
Verdispar’s first residential project in Vilnius will feature Scandinavian living concepts and quality. The housing environment will be safe. It will be separated from nearby apartment buildings by greenery and architectural solutions. Open spaces, playgrounds for children, lighting systems and areas for socializing and communication will contribute to the attractiveness of the area. The existing lake on the property will be opened up, cleaned and integrated into the housing environment.

The residential buildings will be rationally balanced in terms of building materials and technological solutions. They will be simple, attractive and integrated into the greenery. We believe it is important to avoid very expensive building materials – the focus should be on rationality and durability rather than luxury.
Verdispar will make a special effort to ensure that the building materials and construction methods are environmentally friendly and healthy for residents. The project will use high-quality natural materials that do not cause allergies and will be free from materials and chemicals that may adversely impact both the indoor and outdoor environment. The apartments in ScandiPark residential project will feature efficient open plan solutions with high ceilings and large windows offering light and spaciousness. Our ambition is that every apartment will have a terrace, balcony or veranda.

To sum up, the Verdispar project will be different from other residential projects in the area – we will create a safe, comfortable living environment surrounded by greenery and distinguished by Scandinavian style, quality and living concepts.
